About The Forge  

The Forge is located on Boston Street in the student-friendly Highfield area of Sheffield.

You’ll only be a 15-minute walk from both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University so, no matter where you are studying the property location is brilliant!

Living Spaces  

At The Forge we have fully furnished rooms that provide a cosy and luxurious living space for students with all the amenities you’ll need.

Pick between a modern en-suite room with a shared kitchen and living room and a private bedroom and bathroom.  

For those who are after more privacy we also have studio rooms for the ultimate comfort of your own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom area – it can’t get much better than that!  

No matter which room type you decide on, you’ll have ample storage space, fast Wi-Fi speeds, a dedicated study space along with much more.

Student Experience 

We may be bias, but we’re certainly telling the truth when we say the student experience at The Forge is unrivalled.  

There are so many communal spaces for our residents to utilise, including our common area which has a pool table, TV and tons of seating for you to socialise and meet other like-minded people.  

We also have a large outdoor courtyard area with benches and picturesque greenery which is perfect for relaxing on sunny days with friends.

If you want a quick bite to eat or a refreshing drink, there’s no need to head to the shops, we have a vending machine.  

It’s not just the Student Union that offer a great events calendar for students throughout the year either, at The Forge as have social activities taking place so you’ll be kept busy and entertained.  

If you want to plan your own get together in our communal area, you can do so using the KLIQ app!  

Property Facilities 

Deciding on where to live as a student can be hard, however, we make that decision easy with our brilliant onsite spaces and equipment which make living at The Forge even better.  

First things first, if you need to lock up your bike forget about storing it in your flat, we have a dedicated bike storage for that. If you’re bringing along your car to uni, we also have a car park which is available for an additional charge.  

When you need to use the onsite laundry facilities, you don’t have to worry about what time it is as they’re open 24/7.  

If that wasn’t enough, the utility bills are all-inclusive so you only have to pay rent and don’t have to stress about sorting out any extras – you can work hard, and party hard!  

Within the property we also have a recycling space so that we can help reduce our environmental impact due to waste. 

We operate a secure door entry system to restrict access, in addition to CCTV across the property.

Although, Sheffield has been voted as the UK’s friendliest and safest city on numerous occasions, so we’re sure you’ll feel right at home at The Forge. 

Things To Do  

Sheffield has a vibrant student community and lots to do and see. Whilst living at The Forge you won’t be far from all the hustle and bustle – what more could you want?!  

If you’re after a day out shopping, then The Moor is less than 10-minutes away by foot.

The nearest bus station is a 6-minute walking distance whilst the nearest train station is a 5-minutes away, so you can hop on a bus or train to places in and around the city.  

There’s some great bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep of The Forge, including Golf Fang and The Sheaf Island.  

The property is also situated a short distance from the nightclubs of Sheffield, including the popular CODE and Corporation.

So, when the night is over you don’t need to mooch too far to get to your nice and cosy bed!  

There are plenty of cultural sites to be seen and of course green spaces, after all, Sheffield is the UK’s greenest city.

You can view the exhibitions on art, craft and design at Millennium Gallery which is just a 15-minutes’ walk away from the accommodation.

In addition, Norfolk Heritage Park has 28 acres of greenery to explore, and it’s only a 10-minute drive away from us.  

There really is something for everyone to enjoy in Sheffield from an amazing food culture, live music scene, sports teams, arts and cultural destinations and a buzzing nightlife all on your doorstep.
