Whether you’re planning to live with us for 2 weeks or months at a time, we have multiple student properties across the UK and Ireland available for short-term stays. Featuring a wide range of rooms, apartments, and studios, you’ll be sure to find the space that suits your needs.

If you choose to live with us for a short stay, whether that’s for just a few weeks, a single semester stay, or the remainder of the academic year, you’ll enjoy all of the same facilities, services and benefits as our full academic year students. This includes laundry facilities, bicycle storage, car parking where available and, of course, unlimited Wi-Fi.

As with all of our students’ contracts, all of your utility bills are included in your rent, making it really simple and easy to budget.

Short-Term Student Accommodation for Work Placements

A study-based work placement can be absolutely vital for growth and general experience in the working world! You might be studying to become a teacher, a nurse, a dentist or an engineer. Either way, more and more employers are looking for candidates with plenty of experience.

You might think you know a lot about your chosen career. However, being placed in the heart of the action is when you really learn all the ins and outs! If you perform well on your work placement, you may even be offered a full-time job. Of course, that really depends on how much you impress.

A placement lets you put the theory you’ve learnt into practice, make new contacts and learn on the job. Maybe you’re a trainee student nurse on a placement at a local hospital for a few weeks? Or perhaps you’re working at a dental practice in town for a few months? Whatever your area of expertise, you need a comfortable base. That’s where our short-term student accommodation can help.

National Citizen Service Accommodation

Homes for Students is an accommodation provider for The National Citizen Service. It’s a government-backed programme for sixteen to seventeen-year-olds that helps them build skills for work-life. It takes place during spring, summer and autumn, when young people are away from home for a short time.

Our tenancies offer the perfect amount of time for situations like this, including summer accommodation. This makes sure these young adults are as comfortable as possible during their short stay.
