1. Trentham Monkey Forest
Trentham Estate, Stone Rd, Tittensor, Stoke-on-Trent ST12 9HR
Two words. Cute monkeys. What more could you want as a student studying in Stoke!?
If you’re wanting a break from uni work and fancy doing something different, we’d highly recommend you go to Trentham Monkey Forest.
The Monkey Forest basically allows you to walk a trail with monkeys, where they can actually get pretty close to you!
Entry for students is £8.50 and they also have a yummy café for when you fancy a snack on route.
FYI – they’ve just welcomed the arrival of 5 baby monkeys, so if you don’t want to miss out on this CUTENESS, get yourselves down there!
2. Flip Out Stoke

Still thinking of things to do in Stoke? How do indoor trampolines sound?
You don’t have to be a pro on the trampoline to visit Flip Out, you can choose between standard jumps, two-hour experiences and even ‘flip ‘n’ feast’ – which involves food, yay!
With 123 trampolines, 1 giant foam pit and 3 wall runners, once you’ve jumped and tired yourself out, why not visit the café?
We’ve gotta say, the food there is absolutely lush which is a total bonus, with juicy pizzas, burgers and much more on offer.
3. Trentham Gardens

Fancy a nice relaxing stroll? Trentham Gardens is a fab hot spot for things to do in Stoke this summer – we promise!
It’s a great location for shopping with cafes, restaurants and a peaceful stroll in the glorious gardens.
Choose whether you want a day shopping or a day at the gardens, or both if you want to make a proper full day of it!
There really is something to suit everyone’s taste here from the latest fashion to famous ceramic and great gift ideas.
If you’re a big foodie, you’re in the right place, with everything from fish & chips to moreish Mediterranean tapas.
4. Emma Bridgewater Factory

You’ve gotta visit the Emma Bridgewater Factory if you want to get crafty, because here you can decorate your own pottery!
You can choose how many pieces of pottery you want to decorate and take them home with you – perfect for gifts!
Advanced booking is required and decorating lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes giving you plenty of time to get creative.
5. Alton Towers

Calling all adrenaline junkies! If you haven’t been to Alton Towers yet, you’re missing out!
There are plenty of fun things to do in Stoke this summer, and Alton Towers is one of the most popular things to do in Stoke-on-Trent.
Perfect for a day out with your pals on a weekend, Alton Towers is the UK’s biggest theme park with PLENTY to see and do.

6. Bet365 Stadium

This ones for all the footy fanatics out there, or for those students who just want to do something different this summer!
The Bet365 stadium is home to Stoke City Football Club, the all-seater stadium cost nearly £15,000,000 to build and has had a proper upgrade.
Visit there on a matchday or grab a stadium tour to find out more about the club – hurrah!
7. Escape Stoke

Still after some things to do in Stoke this summer? Surely, it’s got to be an escape room, right?
Escape Stoke basically involves you being locked in a mysterious room with just one hour to get out…now that’s creepy.
You can choose from 2-8 players for each escape room, and a number of different scenarios from Area 51 to a casino heist.
Prices range from around £20 per person, which actually isn’t too bad at all if everyone chips in for a fun day!

8. The Regent Theatre
