Nottingham Language Academy

Nottingham Language Academy is a small, independent language school sat in the heart of Nottingham. It offers a vast array of practical language courses, providing high-quality teaching and flexible study options in a backdrop that is geared towards developing students’ confidence and keeping them motivated.

The Academy is located in The Ropewalk, the city’s leading professional district, which overlooks the coveted Park Estate. It is conveniently situated near plenty of eateries, pubs, award-winning restaurants, shops, cinemas and theatres. The main retail centre is within walking distance, boasting more than 1,000 independent stores, from high street names to designer boutiques.

Many different courses are available to meet the varying needs of the Academy’s students, whether they intend to live or work overseas, travel the world, clinch a spot in university, improve their chances of landing a job, pass a language exam, or enhance their foreign language skills for business purposes.

The teaching staff are experienced in their field and qualified. They have a friendly demeanour and are committed to giving students the one-to-one attention they require to progress at a fast pace. The experience of learning with others also improves social skills, as there will be plenty of opportunities to study in small groups.

Classrooms at the Academy are kitted out with interactive SmartBoards, which are complemented by unlimited internet and computer access. An eye-catching common room is also on hand to provide a bit of downtime between classes, with impressive views over the Park Estate. Complimentary drinks for staff and students are provided.

In October 2017, the Academy announced that it had become an approved Cambridge English CELTA training centre, and will be running part-time CELTA courses as of the early months of 2018.
