It’s no doubt that the university has bagged the top spot, with new employment data showing that more Oxford students are moving into graduate level jobs.

The university provides a whopping 250 different courses from over 30 different faculties across four divisions of Humanities, Maths, Physical & Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences.

Oxford graduates are often sought after from companies all over the world, valued for their top-quality education.

Coming in at number two for London uni’s is The University Of Cambridge, bagging an overall 94% for their teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.

Very much known as the big rival of the University Of Oxford, the University Of Cambridge actually got knocked down to sixth place in the world this year.

Nevertheless, sixth place in the whole world is still an incredible achievement, and don’t forget, the second best in London too!

The big smoke is only an hour away from Cambridge too, so you’re in the perfect location as well as one of the top universities for studying.

Known for its picturesque streets, gardens and architecture, this popular university city really lets you be at one with nature.

3. Imperial College London

Say hello to our third-place winner for London universities, Imperial College London!

Bagging an overall 89.4% for their teaching, citations, research, industry income and international outlook, this uni based just outside central London is a super popular choice.

Did you know? Imperial is the only university in the UK to offer focus exclusively on science, medicine, engineering, and business.

From their base in South Kensington, the uni now spreads across nine campuses and six medical campuses.

Next, with an awesome 86.9% and number four in the city of London is University College London, now known as UCL.

This public research university has its main campus in the lovely Bloomsbury area of central London, with a number of other institutes and teaching hospitals elsewhere in the centre of the city.

As UCL is in the heart of London, students get easy access to London’s buzzing nightlife as well as plenty of cultural and academic resources.

According to data taken by the HESA, around 90% of UCL graduates enter work or further study within just six months of graduating!

Coming in at number 5 in London and in the whole of the UK is the wonderful London School Of Economics And Political Science, a big well done to them!

Based in the buzzing centre of London, the compact campus is jam packed with facilities and services to ensure you make the most of your time studying here.
