2. Dr Inks Cocktail Bar

Dr Inks Cocktail Bar is located in the buzzing Regent Quarter of Stockton-on-Tees.

This fabulous little bar is made from 13,000 pennies with stylish decor and an extensive menu of flavorful cocktails. 

If you’re feeling thirsty, opt for ‘The Bueno’ which comes with a mix of chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla expertly shaken and garnished with a Kinder. 

For those feeling a little adventurous, they even have a ‘Spin to Win wheel’ at the bar where you can get a free drink if you spend £25 – see what you land on!

3. Goldies

If you’re a fan of 70s, 80s and 90s music then be sure to take a visit to Goldies.

With free entry before 12am, student friendly drinks deals, and DJs blasting all of the best throwback tunes to get you in the mood, this bar won’t disappoint. 

Located on Stockton High Street, you can’t ask for somewhere more central to enjoy a few tipples, close by to all the nightlife spots and your student flat. 

This venue really is the place to be and it’s open till 4am on Fridays and Saturdays so, go see what you make of it.

4. Hope and Union

When it comes to quirky hotspots in Stockton-on-Tees, Hope and Union takes the lead.

If you’re bored of the same old venues, take a trip to Gracies Beer & Cocktail Bar.

This lovely little gem is located on Wasps Nest Yard, with a chilled atmosphere and an extensive menu of cocktails, craft gins, lagers and spirits. 

They even have a gorgeous little courtyard area which is perfect for a nice summer’s day – we’re dreaming of it! 

It also doesn’t hurt that this venue hosts live music nights, as well as bottomless brunches so you can enjoy a few hours of unlimited tipples.

6. Sticky’s Late Bar & Burger Joint

Sticky’s Late Bar & Burger Joint is one to head to if you’re after a good time whilst studying in Stockton-on-Tees. 

This unique offering brings together a Rock n Roll aesthetic, DJs playing banging tunes, dirty burgers, cocktails, and craft beers into one. 

Sticky’s is the perfect place to go for some bevvies and comfort food after a busy day, and is open Wednesday through to Saturday.

9. The Golden Smog 

The Golden Smog is a much-loved spot for a boozy one in Stockton. 

If you’re someone who appreciates good quality drinks, and prefer a chilled atmosphere then venture to this boozer at Hambletonian Yard. 

This small little pub with a Belgian twist serves up real ales, real cider, 4 kegs as well as all your usual drinks selection.

10. Tipsy Turtle 

If you’re after somewhere to soak up a few pints and enjoy some live music after being on campus, Tipsy Turtle takes the cake. 

Situated inside Regency West Mall, this venue may be small in size but its ever changing line up of quality real ales and ciders makes up for it.

If you get peck-ish, they’ve got plenty of delicious bar snacks on offer.
