You’ll find this speakeasy themed bar nestled in the lanes in Brighton and is spread across three floors. With a roof top garden, 4 bars, gin palace inspired décor, live music, DJs and a 70s cocktail lounge this place is so cool that you’ll never be short of a good time!
Oh, did we mention, they also have circus performers, so you won’t be short of a laugh either.
Sip on their house cocktails which are just wow with options like Bee’s Knees, Panic! at the Pisco and Here’s Johnnie to name a few. If you tend to get hungry after a few bevs then they offer authentic Caribbean cuisine (yummy).

2. Dead Wax Social
Dead Wax Social offers something different with a great vibe to relax in with your pals.
You can have a drink listening to vinyl DJs spinning music from tons of genres until the early hours. They also host exciting events like their weekly comedy quizzes and open mic nights.
This trendy dive bar is located in Brighton’s North Laine and offers craft beers, cocktails and if you’re hungry, you can grab a slice of pizza. Their pizzas are just delicious with options like Life On Margs, Too Mushroom Too Young and Love Will Pear Us Apart, and they’re available 7 days a week.
Dead Wax have an ever-changing selection of craft beers from local breweries so if you’re a beer lover, then it’s a must. Yummy pizza, banging tunes and even better drinks, you can’t ask for much more in a bar than this place, can you?!

3. Pier Nine
Now, if you’re after a unique experience then Pier Nine really is the maddest bar in Brighton.
Located on the seafront in a former art deco cinema and spread across three floors with bars, restaurant, a casino, retro and digital gaming this venue is a great place to go for a night out. There’s so much option you won’t know where to begin!
The Clubhouse bar and restaurant inside offers drink options ranging from cocktails to wines to prosecco, so you’ll have tons to choose from. They even offer 2-for-10 cocktails Monday through to Thursday so what better way to kick off the midweek party!
If you’re after a bite to eat then they offer fully loaded burgers, nachos and dirty fries to name a few. Full up and ready to have fun? Play a game of shuffleboard, darts, pool or digipool! They even have a karaoke bar for you to show your pals your singing skills.

4. The Worlds End
A fun-filled night is certainly promised at The World’s End. This hangout space offers vegan junk food, arcade games, an escape room as well as a large selection of drinks to choose from. They also have DJ’s and live performances if you want to sit and listen to some good tunes!
Fancy a gaming night? Get competitive with your pals with their 10-person remote controlled racetrack or play retro games like mortal combat and time crisis. If board games are more your style, have a game of monopoly!

5. Patterns
Located on Brighton’s infamous Marine Parade, Patterns offers the best of both worlds with a bar and a club inside as well as a sea-facing terrace.
They have a varied programme of music and culture events in their basement club with regular weekly events showcasing drum and bass to disco grime to techono, as well as live music gigs.
Munch on some flavourful pizzas like Nu Jazz, Junglist and Down Tempo if you’re peckish or just dive straight into having a few drinks. Their drinks menu is HUGE with cocktail options like Rumble In The Jungle, Suguar & Spice and Winter Peach as well as a variety of beers, ciders and wines for you to knock back.

6. Chalk
Chalk is one of the best nightclubs and live music venues in Brighton despite being relatively new to the nightlife scene in the city, having opened in 2019. Don’t just take our word for it though, it was voted as Brighton’s best night club in 2020.
You’ll find Chalk located in the coach station opposite the Brighton Pier. With a varied programme of student club nights, themed parties a well as live music gigs, this place has everything you need for a party!
If you’re after a booming event with good music, good vibes and good drinks deals then their regular club nights are a must. Their weekly events are Fat Poppadaddys, Secret Discotheque, and Let’s Kill Disco. Whilst they also host monthly events such as Polyglamorous, Cherry Bomb and Notorious.
Get your dancing boots on and head to Chalk, it’s gotta be done!

7. Concorde 2
Concorde 2 is a legendary nightclub and live music venue that has been providing party go-ers with a good time since 1999. So, we’re sure that these folks know how to host a night out!
Whilst they don’t offer weekly student nights, they do have a diverse selection of events promised for the next academic year like That 70s Club, Low Down Deep and Rhythm Of The 90s so, we’re sure you’ll be making some great memories here.
You must experience a night out here, it’s a staple of student life in Brighton! It’s also a fantastic place to watch some big names and up-and-coming bands if you’re a music lover.

8. Shooshh
Shooshh is Brighton’s only VIP super nightclub located on the beachfront with two floors and three rooms of music, VIP lounge spaces, DJs and drinks deals. You’ll be loving life on a nightout here!
