"This is my second year staying at Beaverbank. The accommodation is very comfortable, well kept and has excellent facilitates. The staff are friendly, caring and always willing to help. I would recommend Beaverbank as both a pleasant and safe place to stay when studying in Edinburgh."
- Eilidh Nicolson, Resident
"Living away from your parents or staying in different country is sometimes a stressful experience. You need at least one place to relax and be yourself; Choosing accommodation is important in that sense. Beaverbank Place has been my accommodation for three years, and I chose it again for next year too. The room is cosy, common room and spaces are always clean, and staff are kind and friendly at all times. The maintenance team has been active in solving all my worries in my living space, and the reception team was helpful and made things clear and transparent in each contract process. Those services I received removed my anxieties and made my life so enjoyable here. Flatmates were also very friendly and I have had a nice time and enjoy sometimes sharing thoughts. I now feel a special attachment spending my time in the UK at Beaverbank Place, and this will certainly be an important place for me in my life."
- Ryoji Shimabukuro, Resident
"Over my education I have lived in a few places, but none of which have such a wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff as here. The guys at Beaverbank Place are amazing and I cannot put into words how grateful I am for making this Geordie lad love his time away from home. At times me riding solo has been very hard, I am not really a social butterfly like a lot of students and I do miss my family greatly, the staff are a key support network for me and they pick me up a great deal when I feel flat."
- Harry Jackson, Resident
"Whilst living at Benjamin Russell Court for four years, the staff have been lovely and engaging. The prices and discounts that were made available every year has made student living worth it. The rooms are very spacious, bright and quiet, I would recommend to anyone coming to study in Leicester."
- Faisal Manir, Resident
"I loved every minute staying here at Homes for Students, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect."
- Rajneet Gill, Resident
"I have been here for three years now and would love to stay longer. The flats are great, have good facilities and the location couldn’t be better. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and quick to fix any maintenance issues. I have really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it."
- Laura Buckland, Resident
"The accommodation has a great deal for nursing students, with the weekly cost being less than that of a regular student. Because we spend more time at university, and therefore require accommodation for longer, its handy to be paying slightly less per week. Staying at Ben Russell Court is especially good for the nurses and midwives on March intake as our course term times deviate from the normal and it’s easy to extend our agreement until the time we need it! It’s also brilliant that generally we are put with other nurses, or those in a healthcare profession as when on shift work, everyone is more understanding of your situation. Also, the accommodation is right next to campus – meaning more much needed sleep – and is close to food shops so we don’t have to walk to town!"
- Francesca Scudder, Resident
"I moved into Brayford between 15/16 academic year. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and reliable. They were always swift to resolve a problem and incredibly sociable. Unlike some student accommodation, I could tell the team really cared about my experience. The rooms themselves were amazing. Lovely and spacious and the wifi was great! Cannot fault the rooms! The whole team deserves the highest praise, I'm going to sorely miss staying at Brayford Quay."
- Rob Clarke, Resident
"I loved my time at Brayford Quay academic, year 15/16. The accommodation is fantastic, Brayford Quay is so successful because of the amazing supporting team thats behind it, the rooms are always cleaned to an excellent standard. I'm very impressed with Lesley, Carys and Neil going above and beyond the companies objectives. My friend, who's dads just died was really upset, Carys, Lesley and Neil decided to run a fundraiser to help her raise money towards her dads cancer cause, used money out their own pockets as well as the owner helping out too! AMAZING PEOPLE!! I'm only returning next year due to the staff because I know they will look after me! Loved every second. 10/10 would and do recommend."
- Ben Sherriff, Resident
"I have the privilege to stay at Camberwell Townhall. Apart from the great view from the rooftop, the installations and the rooms are comfy and the staff is always up to help in every necessity. "
- Ivan Guerra Scarpelli, Resident
"Camberwell Townhall is a true home away from home. Its convenient location, helpful staff and incredible views have made my move to London so easy. "
- Kayli, Resident
"As an international student, staying in Camberwell Townhall saved a lot of hassle for me. I checked in and everything was ready. It's a beautiful sunny room with big window and high ceiling, equipped with all the necessities. Management is friendly, responsive and are always ready to listen to you and they solve problems rapidly. I have no regrets staying in Camberwell Townhall which backed me up with quality sleep, rest and energy for my study."
- Kit Hung, Resident
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Canalside, Birmingham where I spent my first year of university. The rooms were perfectly reasonable with no issues all year. Any repairs are solved immediately and there is always someone happy to help. The reception staff are fantastic, especially one in particular who is often sat at the desk. She has been particularly welcoming and has solved any issues I have raised. She is also quick to welcome all of the residents when passing through reception. It has been a pleasure spending time at Canalside."
- Joshua Pearce, Student at the University of Law
"Throughout my university career I had the option to live in private houses, however I chose to stay at College Court as they are possibly the friendliest and most reliable people to live with. I never had to worry about bills or Wi-Fi and they have a large common room which I used regularly."
- Jack Thompson, Previous Resident
"After an outstanding stay at Danesgate House during my first year I chose to re-book for second year. I could not have made a better decision. This accommodation is in a great location in the town centre, excellent value for money, has all the modern facilities I need, and very friendly and helpful staff! They definitely make you feel very at home and are quick to fix any maintenance issues. I feel very safe here due to the security team and the great friends from across the different years and courses I made in the accommodation. "
- Dominika Garbocz, Resident
"East Shore is a beautiful property to live in, being right on the beach. Waking up to the sunrise over the sea certainly makes going to uni in the mornings much easier!"
- Fiona McKissock, Resident
"The staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. The attitude of the staff was the deciding factor for me. They wanted to make sure that the whole process of renting, moving in and living here has been easy and comfortable."
- Sippi Moghaddam, Resident
"The flats are new and well thought out for the student’s needs, with lots of storage, wifi and a lounge room to everyone to meet together."
- Jennifer Bre, Resident
"The property is an exceptional place, with a unique view and is located in one of the best areas of St. Andrews. If we return to St. Andrews we will not hesitate to stay here again."
- Mumi Velez, Short Term Visitor
"Exeter One is about 15-20 minutes away from campus and offers modern studio and shared flats with plenty of room! The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. I've been staying here for three years now and it's great, would definitely recommend!"
- Davide Scapignato, Resident
I rebooked my room for a second academic year at Firhill Court because I loved my experience so much! The staff are so friendly and inviting to all new students. I really feel that this has added to my amazing experience at this accommodation because staff go above and beyond their job description to keep students happy. I am really grateful for all of the information and continuous support they provide. No request is too much and I never feel unwelcome. Additionally, the accommodation facilities are excellent value for money and I was very impressed by the kitchen/living room area. Because I have a car, the free parking with a locked gate has been a real plus - although it only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to three main shops. I also have a view of the canal from my room which makes it feel like I am away from all of the busyness of the city, without being far away. Communal areas are always kept clean and I really cannot recommend Firhill Court enough!"
- Jessica Lucas, Resident
Foundry Court is pretty much my second home, all together, I have spent over four years here. Returning to UCLan, I knew which accommodation I was going to choose. The reception staff are all very friendly and manage to remember everybody’s names, which makes it more personalised. They encourage you to have a cup of tea and have a biscuit with them, and every now and again, put out food for different occasions, like pancakes or Chinese food, on Shrove Tuesday and Chinese New Year respectively. The accommodation is second to none, the room itself, is spacious with a large window desk and en-suite, the kitchen has all the appliances your need and the reception area comes with a tv and a gaming area including snooker, table tennis and darts. When you have built up a sweat, there is a drinks and food machine onsite.
If a light bulb blows or a toilet gets blocked, you have someone onsite who can deal with these problems very swiftly.
Foundry is well located on campus with a two-minute walk to Allen building and 5-10-minute walk to the gym and local amenities near by like; Subway, Iceland and Tesco.
Overall, I would rate my experience here at Foundry Court as excellent, and would recommend it to a friend."
- Simon, Resident
"Having spent my last two years at Garrow House, I will miss the friendly and considerate staff, who have always offered me help whenever I have needed it. These private halls of residence are a great environment for anyone wanting to enjoy fab facilities, and huge rooms. The communal spaces are great for studying in as well as hanging out with my friends. There are loads of shops, supermarkets, dry cleaners, pharmacies, cafes and a couple of restaurants nearby making my life a lot easier. Portobello Road is only a 15' walk away which is great for me to go down and have a look at all the market stalls in Notting Hill. I have truly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to start their student experience in London."
- Anastasia Christakopoulou, Resident
"I live in a studio apartment in Hawley Crescent and I can't imagine a better place for me to be. The building is less than 2 minutes to the Camden Town Underground, and 1 minute to the Camden market, as well as a giant Sainsburys. This is a lively area which makes me feel rather buoyant and in touch with the city - but also, fortunately, the building is on a small side street which makes it very quiet.
I am impressed by the amount of space I have for a studio in camden, and the furnishings in the room are beautiful and modern, with great wifi. I love the staff; they're incedibly friendly and helpful. They have helped me when they didn't have to, only to be nice. I couldn't feel more safe with them. Though in all honesty I think the part of this housing I enjoy most is the rooftop terrace, upon which I often sit late at night and overlook east and central london."
- Stefani Ruper, Resident
"I've enjoyed my time spent at Janet Poole House. With its great location near the West End and university, it has been an ideal place to call home for term-time. Its decor makes the building feel beyond that of a student accommodation. In addition to an always helpful front office, the building's quietness makes it an ideal place for a student wishing to get work done!"
- Stephanie Winter, Resident
"I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay whilst at university than Landale House. The building's complex makes you feel safe and secure, with 24-hour security it reassures you in a big, busy city like London. I have loved every minute of living there and I'm sad to say goodbye. It has been the perfect place to live, accommodating every ascpect of my student life. All of the onsite management team were not only helpful and supportive, but they became my friends. Thank you, Landale House!"
- Elizabeth (Beth) Aynsley, Resident
"5 Star accomodation and 1st Class service!
Poland House is truly an oasis in a desert of London student accommodation! After viewing some awful places at ridiculous prices for our daughter, we were amazed at the quality, cleanliness and price!
Mark and Amrita are absolutely amazing; helping us to move in our daughter who is now a very happy bunny!!
Thank you soo much!!!"
- Donna and David, Parents of Resident
"Really good location, very central for university, staff very friendly and helpful and there is always something going on!"
- Alistair Rae, Resident
"Great location for all unis/colleges. Staff are really helpful and attentive, all suggestions taken on board and adopted."
- Claire Gorman, Resident
"This student accommodation is has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable experience at university. Its location is perfect, situated between the Aberdeen University and the city centre. Shops and everything else needed are within walking distance which is ideal.
The building is new and very pleasant to live in. The rooms are very comfortable and in extremely good condition. There is also little noise in the building as a whole.
There is a large common room which is well equipped and allows for an excellent social area. There is also a courtyard which adds a nice space to the building. The staff here are great for putting on events to bring together the students living here.
Super friendly staff also make Powis Place a really enjoyable place to stay. They are very welcoming and really easy to talk to.
I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for comfortable, enjoyable and really friendly student accommodation. Ideal for people in 2nd or 3rd year as it is a great transition between university halls and renting flats."
- Natalie Kent, Resident
"I have lived in Rockingham House for 3 years, and it is possibly the best student accommodation in Sheffield! The university and diamond library are just a few minutes’ walk from the Rockingham House, and it is centrally located so you can enjoy the nightlife of Sheffield. The living facilities are of a good standard, and there are regular cleaners for the communal kitchens and a common room downstairs, which has a pool table! It is a great place to chill out and relax with your friends. Rockingham House provides value for money, with excellent spacious en-suite rooms that you need to experience for yourself!"
- Daniel Godlive, Resident
"The Glasshouse is the best private halls of residence in Nottingham City Centre. The accommodation has been very beneficial for my first year, a hotspot for university students in a relaxed environment. The site staff are really great as well, they are very cooperative and understanding, keeping all tenants up-to-date with information which is a vital part to our enjoyment at the residence."
- Michael-Parker Longdon, Resident
"I have lived at the Glasshouse for my first 2 years of university whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University and have enjoyed the accommodation thoroughly! The accommodation and appliances are of a high quality for student living, the staff are polite, professional and responsive and the prices compared to university accommodation is much cheaper. The rooms are spacious, professionally furnished and bright, adding to my overall experience. I would recommend this accommodation to any student."
- Eliot Godley, Resident
"I have lived at the Glasshouse for my second year of University whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University and I have enjoyed my stay. It’s in an ideal location above Aldi, meaning weekly shops aren’t a hassle, also its convenient travelling to university due to how close it is. The staff are friendly and always happy to help, the students who live here are respectful, especially around exam time. I have not got bad word to say about the Glasshouse. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I have!"
- Triston Barton, Resident
"The Glasshouse is a wonderful place to live. The facilities are well designed and aesthetically pleasing, the bedroom begins as a blank slate and I was inspired with the possibilities of what it could be 3 years ago when I moved in for my first year. I decided to stay in the glasshouse for my entire university life, this is due to the convenience of the location but also because when I looked around for another place to live in 2nd year I found that all other properties failed in comparison to The Glasshouse, and it is very reasonably priced as my student loan covers it. The staff are incredibly friendly and I got to know them well within my 1st year, they ask about my day and make me feel welcome. They're also very quick to respond if there are any maintenance issues within the flat, like if a bulb has blown or somebody has been locked out, which is something that is seldom experienced within student housing so it is really nice. Also, there are double beds which is very good - students sleep a lot, me in particular! I am looking forward to moving back up there after summer has ended, and I will certainly cry when I have to leave it in a years time!"
- Elizabeth Dye, Resident
"Living at Trinity Student Village has been really easy as its never a hassle to get any issues fixed and the staff are always lovely and caring. I've lived here for two years and if I could stay more than my uni years I would as I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Great to live here the price is great plus they always have something at reception like some snacks or activity's to do."
