1. Lab 11
You’re not going to want to miss out on this unique venue, and luckily for you, they’re currently undergoing refurbishment to make your experience even better!
Lab 11 is an industrial-themed club and DJ venue smack bang in the middle of Digbeth in Birmingham. Placed between the grand railway arches of Digbeth, this gritty warehouse aesthetic creates a great vibe for all, with a mixture of industrial beams, smoke machines and some amazing light shows!
There are always regular DJ performances and unforgettable acts including their famous TRMNL events which sometimes go on until 6am, wow! Lab 11 also have terrace sessons showcasing the best talent in the techno and house music world so if you fancy discovering some new great music, this is the place to be.
If you fancy something different to the usual sticky floor cheesy music scene, we’d highly recommend this place for an all round unique experience!
2. The Mill
This Digbeth bar and live music venue is situated in a large warehouse space with an amazing open-top roof garden.
Next to the Victorian railway arches on Lower Trinity Street, The Mill is right next door to its sister venue, The Digbeth Arena. A 15-minute walk from Birmingham New Street, this club is super accessible and easy to get to.
This club also has a selection of chill out zones if you need a break from all the boogying, as well as different genres of music in each room if you fancy a change. The scope of variety is what makes this venue so great, as well as its unforgettable roof garden offering some beautiful views over Birmingham.
3. The Nightingale Club
The heart of gay nightlife and clubbing, this absolutely huge venue has the capacity for around 2000 people! With a staggering 3 floors of music, 4 rooms and 5 bars, Nightingale Club is the largest and oldest gay venue in Birmingham, and the place to be if you’re after a good time.
There’s even a VIP area filled with booths if you’re wanting to splash out for the evening, with drinks and entry packages also available.
With loads of entertainment available from fire breathers to cheesy party tracks galore, you’re bound to have a colourful night here. Nightingale Club also have some amazing drinks offers including £1 drinks all night on a Thursday, what more could you want!
Being the largest nightclub in Birmingham, PRYZM definitely has the reputation of being a class night out!
Located on the buzzing Broad Street, this glitzy venue features home-grown and international DJ’s performing hip hop, RnB and mash up in 4 different rooms of music.
This club is extremely popular amongst students with a great vibe and good drinks deals, if you’re celebrating a special occasion they have booths available with table service, perfect for a fancy evening.
PRYZM have some fantastic packages on offer including the ‘Designated Driver Pack’ which includes a cloakroom voucher, three soft drinks vouchers and a queue jump. They also have some fabulous admission deals including the Cocktail Package which includes 8 admissions, 1 VIP booth and 2 jugs of the famous Sex on the Beach cocktail.
This venue is pretty much a combination of great tunes, cheap drinks, and a great atmosphere! Open since 1972, Snobs is the home to Inde, rock ‘n’ roll, alt pop and retro jams. Only a 5 minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street, this venue is known for its unforgettable nights out and great deals.
Big Wednesday, Rehab on a Friday, and Loaded on a Saturday are the main nights you need to keep your eye out for, Snobs also host regular themed nights and one-off special events too. They’re open from 10:30-3:30am and close at 4am on a Saturday, giving you that extra hour of partying! It’s only £5 entry even on weekends before midnight, then it goes up to £6.
They even have a delicious menu of bar & grill food available, as well as live sports for all you footy fans out there.
6. The O2 Institute
You’ve probably heard of this venue for gigs, but did you know it doubles up as a nightclub too? Situated in the trendy Digbeth, this music and club venue really does stand out from the crowd. The O2 Institute first opened in 1995 and was known for its Victorian walls and vintage aesthetic.
This venue has a great range of club nights and has been host to some really well known aritists from the likes of Rita Ora to Conor Maynard. The main auditorium holds around 1,500 people, the library holds up to 600 and The Temple Bar being a more intimate area has a capacity of around 300 people.
Perfectly located in the centre of Birmingham on Broad Street, Players is an award winning bar and club and has been for 3 consecutive years running. Open 7 days a week, they offer excluse VIP areas with luxury booth seating, and even a cocktail master class if you fancy learning the tricks of the trade!
There’s 3 rooms to choose from with a range of top DJ’s, stage performers and live percussionsts. This American themed sports bar offers a premium table service and VIP packages to weekly drink deals to guarantee a great night to let your hair down and enjoy yourself!
Think plush draped booths with a Morroccan styled garden, sound appealing? Then you’ve got to visit Bambu Nightclub! This glamorous venue is a jewell in the crown of the Birmingham clubbing scene with its swanky interior and regular in-house DJ’s.
This venue is one of the most stylish in Birmingham, with a bunch of special guests and a 900 person capacity, your night is going to be unforgettable at Bambu Nightclub!
9. Tunnel Club
Since they opened in the year 2000, The Tunnel Club has been leading the live music scene in Birmingham! If you want a booming industrial atmsosphere, with some very affordable drink deals, this venue is the place to be. Close to the Jewellry Quarter, Tunnel Club has an amazing 7 rooms worth of music with a top notch sound system to bring music to your ears.
We’d have to reccomed their rock nights on a Tuesday which has a £10 all you can drink deal. As well as deals they’ve also got a huge selection of spirits, beers and alcopops on offer to keep your night going, you might even have some money left after your night out for a nice greasy kebab!
Keep your eye on their website for the different themed nights, from metal music to EBM, there really is everything you’d want in one venue.
This nightclub specializes in reggae music over 3 floors, including a basement dance floor and bar. Situated in edgy Digbeth, there’s a real sense of community in this venue with their ‘People Standing Together’ motto, giving the club a nice family orientated feel.
The venue may be small, but its definitely booming! PST even have a private members club with specific members only nights including prize draws and freebies on your birthday.
