The spooky season is here everyone, who’s excited? For students living and studying in London, we’ve put together this post of the 8 best Halloween events you need to check out on and around 31st October 2022.

1. Wunderbar Halloween Party

First up on our list of Halloween events in London is Wunderbar Halloween Party at Pergola Paddington. If you’re a student living in West London, then you really must attend this one!

Taking place at the biggest alfresco bar in the area, you can expect a combination of Oktoberfest meets Halloween at this event on Saturday 29th.

Within the Bavarian beer hall there will be spooky décor, plenty of pumpkins, good tunes and of course tons of beer drinking.

Tickets start at just £10 for this event, and with the superb price and the fun-filled atmosphere promised we’re sure it’s not one to be missed!

2. HorrOctober

If you’re a big fan of horror films or Halloween themed films, then we urge you to head to Prince Charles Cinema for their month-long event.

Within this city centre cinema on Leicester Place, you can see tons of spooky films across October from Silence of the Lambs to The Shining to Dracula to A Nightmare on Elm Street along with many more.

Why not stuff your face with popcorn and have a film night with a spooky twist? There are even all-nighter showings too and Halloween costumes are encouraged!

3. Halloween Boat Party

Next up on our list of Halloween events in London for students is the Halloween boat party organised by Enigma events, yep, you heard that one right!

Do you dare to step aboard the chilling boat cruising along the River Thames? Departing from festival pier in South Bank, this experience is not one to be missed and is open to all university students in the capital.

You’ll meet so many new people whilst dancing the night away with 3 hours of DJs spinning the best HipHop, House, Pop and Disco tunes. Expect spooky decor, actors, amazing costumes and cheap drinks deals on Sunday 30th October.

4. Hallowed Peak

Another top pick for students keen to celebrate this Halloween 2022 in London, is Hallowed Peak.

Hallowed Peak is an immersive experience in Canada Water, set in 30,000 square foot Wild West themed town full of carnival acts, interactive games, live music, storytellers, ghost stories, paranormal investigators and so much more.

This place isn’t for the faint hearted and promises to provide an eerie extravaganza, with food and drink stalls available in the theme park style environment at their Lunar Festival.

5. Halloween Rave

When it comes to nightlife in the city, Fabric consistently provides a good time and this Halloween 2022 is no exception, with their amazing Halloween Rave taking place on Monday 31st October.

You can join thousands of other students at this iconic underground venue in central London, with three club rooms to experience.

No matter your music taste there’s music you can groove to from Hip Hop to Grime to Rnb to House to Techno and more!

At this massive event expect insane lazer and light displays, a booming bass and sound system as well as student friendly drinks.

6. Halloween At The Tower Of London

If there’s something strange in your neighbourhood, where you gonna go? It’s gotta be the Tower Of London!

Waner the grounds of one of the world’s most famous fortresses and explore 1000 years of history at the scariest time of the year.

What was once a prison, it said to be one of the most haunted buildings in London so thrill seeks will love it.

If you want to experience some ghostly sightings during this year’s Halloween festivities, then take a visit around the tower with interesting tours including projections and eerie sound effects.

You might just encounter the roaming ghosts of legendary inmates or Anne Boleyn!

7. The Covent Garden Pumpkin Market

Celebrate Halloween in all its glory by heading to Covent Garden’s Halloween pumpkin market. After all, it’s not autumn without pumpkins, is it?

Taking place from October 29th-31st is the Pumpkin Market at the Apple Market, which offers an amazing display of over 200 pumpkins, squashes and gourds with an autumn floral display by florists, Maison de Fleurs.

You can get some Insta-worthy pics and even purchase a pumpkin to take home carve with your flatmates! Restaurants and restaurants in the area will also be joining in with the seasonal fun, offering pumpkin-flavoured cocktails and treats.

Across the three days there will be an array of events, experiences and seasonal displays so it’s worth taking a stroll down to the West End.

8. Halloween At Sky Garden

Sky Garden is the place to be this Halloween, with their stylish fancy dress bash 35 floors up from the streets of London taking place on October 28th.

The iconic venue and rooftop bar has an amazing event programme for Halloween, with a resident DJ and an exclusive live band providing all the feel-good singalongs all night.

Sip on some Halloween themed cocktails made by the specialist bar team and party with your besties!

When you’ve had enough of dancing (is that ever), head out to take in the gorgeous skyline views of the City of London which makes for some cracking pictures.
